WOW!! Thank you to EVERYONE for being so GENEROUS!! Our hearts are full of love for all of you!!
We posted about this project Friday afternoon and we're already so close to getting what we need for 100 Hygiene Kits after only 48 hours. We feel so blessed to know so many giving people!
Here is what we still need for 100 Kits - if things keep going at the rate they have been maybe we can make 200 Kits!! Please feel free to give items that we already have - the donations will be put to good use by the Haitian people!
Soap - NEED 128 bars -(3 for $1 at Dollar Tree)
Toothbrushes - NEED 130 (Can buy for .15 cents each at amazon.com)
Toothpaste-NEED 70 (2 for $1 at Dollar Tree)
Towels (15x25) - NEED 130 (can get at IKEA for .49 cents each)
Combs - have all 200!! THANK YOU!
Gallon Ziplock bags - Have all 100! THANK YOU!!

the bars of soap that are 3/1 at dollar tree are not quite the right size I discovered. Acutally, the best deal we found are Ivory at WalMart, 10 bars for $4.18. Also, we bought the toothbrushes, 5 for $1 at dollar tree and put all 5 (they have to stay packaged) in each kit. Thanks for your inspiration for a family service project! We did 20 kits as a family today after church and it was really good for our kids to have a "hands on" way to serve the poeple of Haiti.
