Fun at the Park

 

Yesterday when Stella and I went to pick Joe up from work we noticed that the traffic on the way home was terrible. So we picked up dad and headed to the park! Stella loved every minute of it! Good think Grammy picked her out some new shoes!! We had a lot of fun, we will be doing this more often!

Visiting Cedar City

A while back we headed down to Cedar City to visit Joe's parents. We love going to Cedar City! We always go to the Triple Deuce Memorial to find Joe's name on the wall. It was built in honor of all the soldiers in their unit that went to Iraq.






We stayed with Joe's army buddy Johnny and his wife Carrie in St George. They just completely remodeled their home and its beautiful!

They are expecting their first baby (Its a girl) on November 11th. We are thrilled for them.

24th of July

On the 24th of July Stella and I went to our ward parade with Michelle and Jacob. We had a good time even though we missed the parade!

 

At least we got some cute pictures of the kids!!

 

 

I made this cake for my sister in law Jodi for her birthday. I thought it looked pretty great!!

{Jam Exchange}

Over the weekend I made some jam with a little help from Joe and Ashley. It was a lot of fun (a special thanks to Michelle for giving me all the secrets to success!) First we made Peach and Cinnamon Peach - I was a little concerned when the recepie asked for 4 cups of fruit and 5 1/2 cups of sugar... it seemed wrong! So, I decided to make a batch with Splenda - Raspberry Peach - and it turned out great!!

Soo... all of this jam has got me thinking. Here is my idea... wanna play? I want to have a jam exchange! Here is how it works... its simple!

1. Tell me you want to participate and your flavor of choice(first ten people)
2. Make 10 jars of your favorite type of Jam or Jelly
3. Drop your Jam off to my house by Sept 15th
4. Wait for me and Stella to personally deliver 10 different types of Jam to your door!
