All Horse Parade

I am so behind on blogging... I'm going to try and catch up over the next few days.

ALL HORSE PARADE?

Now that Joe is back in school he has a lot of homework to do. On Saturday mornings Stella and I try to find something fun to do so we can get out of the house and let dad have some quiet study time for a few hours. On this particular Saturday we headed to Sandy for the All Horse Parade.

Stella couldn't have been more thrilled!!! She is still talking about the "forseys" aka horseys for those of you who don't speak Stella.

Stella's cousin Kaya made it for the final round of horses and they had a blast cheering them on. They love horses!

Meatballs!

While I was working this morning Stella was laying on my bed watching a movie. She came into my office and said "Mama, meatballs". We had not eaten breakfast yet so I asked her if she wanted meatballs for breakfast. She said "NO, mama meatballs". She took my finger and let me to the bedroom where i found her diaper laying on the ground surrounded by 5 meatball sized POOP balls! SICK!! She pointed at them and said "Meatballs, there they are!". I tried not to laugh at her - but it was really hard!

Probably more info than most of you wanted to hear, but i wanted to write it down so we did not forget about it.

I dont think we'll be having meatballs for dinner anytime soon!

Baby Jane Sun Bonnet

I have the sweetest neighbor in the entire world - so sweet that she even lets me borrower her Dyson.. talk about a good neighbor huh?! Joe hates that she lets me borrow the vacuum because now I talk about getting a Dyson instead of going on vacation!


Besides being sweet she is also amazingly talented - the good news for you is that she is doing a GIVEAWAY! She has designed a baby bonnet pattern that is to die for! Stella had the privilege of trying on the bonnet yesterday and oh do I ever hope we win the contest!

Right Now...

This picture was taken about 3 minutes ago ( please ignore my raccoon eyes... its late).
We have put Stella to sleep four times tonight... you heard me right... four times!
She has been fully asleep every time keeps waking up for some reason.
She knows how to get out of her big girl bed and how to open the doors so she ended up right here next to me while I'm blogging.
She keeps leaning over and stealing kisses from me and he has one hand in my hair and the other hand in dads hair.
As much as I know she should be sleeping right now I can't deny those kisses!!
Hopefully she will sleep in tomorrow... but I have a feeling she'll be climbing into my bed to snuggle about 7:00 am :)

Big Girl

Stella has turned from a baby to a BIG GIRL! She is very independent and so much fun.
If she wants to do something her self she now will say "big girls do it".
I love her pouty lip in this top picture... if she does not get her way then she gets her feelings hurt!
I guess she has a bit of only child syndrome.. she may be a little spoiled.

Stella loves to "mell" (aka smell) flowers. On this night dad put one in her hair - I think she looked adorable!

Enjoying the Good Stuff!

This week Stella and I enjoyed a breakfast of Milk and Graham Crackers - we sat on the back patio and enjoyed the quiet morning. It made me realize that we need to enjoy life's little pleasures more often! We had fun - we only wish Dad could have joined us!
